What Is The EEI Form, Will You Need One?
EEI-Electronics Export Information. The electronic data that exporters and authorized agents report for most exports leaving the USA. EEI is under the Bureau of Census Dept. Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR). This is the electronic equivalent of the former Shippers Export Declaration (SED) form. EEI needs to be filed when the value of the commodity classified under each individual Schedule B number is over $2500. You can file yourself; instructions:
